If you do not bring a boat, you can easily rent one at Powell Park Marina. Powell Park also rents tubes, skis, knee boards, etc. as well as jet skis. The marina also has a sandy beach and an Aqua Park that can be used by day visitors who pay a fee. If no boat, you can also grab a rod and reel (bring your own bait and tackle) off the rack in the dining room and fish from the floating dock, kayak or from the canoe! OR just grab a book and hang out in the hammocks, on the rockers on the screened-in porch or the chairs around the fire pit and do nothing but relax! When the water level is down, Powell Park marina is less than 2 miles away and on a deep cove. They offer covered boat slips for daily rental fee.
